The Midwest Registrars Committee formed in 1978 to provide a forum for the exchange of information and methods among museum collections professionals and registrars in the Midwest region. The MRC fulfills this objective by promoting an atmosphere of mutual aid and cooperation and by promoting professional practices to benefit colleagues, the museum community, and members.

2026 Conference Stipends Announced

The Midwest Registrars Committee board is very pleased to announce that the MRC will be awarding travel stipends to assist with registration and travel costs to attend the 2026 Association of Midwest Museums Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Check out our Conference Stipends and Sponsors page for more information.

The deadline for applications for MRC travel stipends is Friday, May 22, 2026.  Anyone who is interested in attending the conference is STRONGLY URGED to apply!!
